Beach Sale
"This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine..." Grace Belliveau lights up Sunday's Beach Sale.
Many thanks to Grace and Roger for allowing us once again to accumulate massive quantities of stuff in their garage in preparation for another Beach Sale. The annual event, held this year on Sunday July 12 under ideal conditions, brought out the crowds to look for bargains along many blocks of Beach Boulevard. As ever, BCLG members hung our banner at the corner of Killarney and set up Lighthouse Lane to raise funds for the organization. Special thanks to Ed Nolan for providing a trailer-load of folding tables again.
Sunday, July 12. Killarney Street becomes Lighthouse Lane for a day.
Dressed to sell. Dave Auger, our founding Executive Director, Barbara Murray, our Chair, and Bruce Hoyle, Treasurer. Like those duds? Make them an offer!
The usual supects. Lois Reid, Linda Andersen, Marjorie French and Isabel Miller did double duty- octuple duty? - on the info table and with sales. Plus, unpacking of boxes and pricing on the day before. Fortunately we were able to get them to sit down long enough to capture this Study in Aqua.

Hmmm, I have an idea……. Let’s do it again next year. I would just like to say thanks to the whole gang from BCLG for their donations of beautiful stuff, time and energy. A special thanks to the team who came out to help the day before the sale and the day of the sale. Could not have done it without you all. Roger and I really do enjoy this day and are looking forward to continuing with the tradition for hopefully many years to come. Our section of the annual garage sale is becoming an expected fixture for those who return year after year and an interesting surprise to those who are first timers. Keep up the great work.
